Well, last night sucked. After my whole little gripe about.. well, general crap I gripe about, I didn't sleep at all last night. Maybe 10 minutes I dozed off but mostly tossed and turned. I got up at 4a to get ready for work at 8a - then went back to bed to toss and turn some more. When my alarm went off, I was peeved, but I went ahead to work and now I'm about to die. I haven't slept in almost 24 hours and.. it's been a while since I stayed up this long. I can feel it - mostly in my eyeballs and the immediately surrounding regions.
And after what I griped about last night, I kept thinking and thinking and thinking about it pretty much up until the moment my alarm went off and I thought "Ooh! Time to get ready for work!" and I miraculously haven't thought about it again all day until now. Now, though, it's barely having any effect on me compared to the lack of sleep. I dunno how I am even able to type at a decent pace right now. Or even speel correctly. ;P

But I sure was in a shitty mood at work. Dumb chick server and her dumb shit boyfriend are as one super-stupid idiot. He rung up a pizza with "Pork" which I deciphered to mean Pork Sausage. Then she comes bitching cuz I made this pizza wrong -
"It was supposed to have Canadian Bacon."
"I put Sausage - which IS pork! Get more !#%$!#@ specific next time! I know you got a button for that on the computer! Or, your little dumbass has no problem typing a journal entry on the tickets you send back, you could have entered H-A-M or typed 'Canadian Bacon!!' "
That pissed both of them off and me as well because I had to make a whole new pizza. Being in the no-sleep state I was in, my patience was very thin with that and the fact that I was training a new guy to cook on the line. He has been training for 2 weeks and he, for some reason, wants to just do things his own way and you can't do that. Today, he decided he didn't want to wear his hat, which is a Health Code violation. Later, the little dumb server-girl was bitching cuz she didn't have her "Fish and Chips." I had no clue there was a ticket for it, and this new guy had ripped it off the printer and put it SOMEWHERE down on the cutting board rather than putting it up where it should have been. It took us 10 mins to get out an order that should have taken 4-5 minutes tops. Then, the Food and Beverage director of the Hotel (technically, the "Chef" is my boss, but this is the Chef's boss) comes and bitches me out about it.. probably cuz dumb server bitch was a tattle-tale. But seriously, trying to babysit a new guy on the line while we were busy, and he's not following proper food safety procedures such as washing hands and wearing gloves, probably cross-contaminating foods using MY knives. He really isn't so incompetent that I couldn't leave him alone on the line for a little while - but only for a little while... like, 45 seconds.
Yeah, ok so, I just got invited to watch a movie that I haven't seen.. "Beerfest." I dunno - don't think I've ever heard of it, but I think ima go watch it and actually be sociable for once.
